Probability-Based Word Prediction for Writing Support in Dyslexia

چکیده
This paper discusses work that has been done to enhance the prediction capability of a strictly frequency-based adaptive word prediction program used chiefly by persons with motoric and/or linguistic impairments.. The work involves a change to a probability-based system, extension of scope, and addition of grammatical, semantic and phrase information to the database. The new program is being integrated with spellchecking and speech synthesis into a writing package for dyslexics.
